Working with Jen has been wonderful, she is easy to speak to. I feel like I’ve gained a friend that cares for my well-being and can also relate to. Her online sessions are thorough and explanatory. She’s never made me feel stupid or uncomfortable, just always very real. I expected that my gut health would be better seeing as how other medications and treatments I did previously never worked. I signed up with Jen not for the normal reasons you might think. I wasn’t interested in weight loss, I didn’t feel like I had any specific health issues. My reason was I had been taking supplements for years and felt like I no longer really knew why I was taking them. But I knew that my diet was not the best that it could be and I wanted to eat the proper food that would help me clear up some brain fog, and eat to stay healthy. Jen did my first set of blood, urine and salvia samples and the results showed that on a cellular level things were crazy. She set me up with supplements that addressed the areas that were being stressed and gave me a meal plan. I took one look at it and thought ‘I am going to starve. There’s not enough food’ it seemed very limited. After trying it for a week, talking with her, understanding about my blood type, it was obvious the most important thing I needed to eliminate was sugar. Learning to read labels for hidden sugar was worth the price of her service. Also when buying groceries that had five ingredients or less to get the cleanest foods, avoiding big words in the nutritional labels that I didn’t understand what they meant, factored in to how to buy food at the grocery store. These tips broadened the meal plans and added more satisfying options. Jen was was always available by email or telephone, we had weekly half hour sessions to explain to help in retraining how to think about food, health and attitudes towards those things. When we did the intermediate dry blood sample I was really showing signs of improvement which shocked me because I didn’t feel I was following the plan exactly as I should be. The final assessment in the live blood really showed a difference, there are still areas that I need to work on. We made adjustments to the plan so I can manage it on my own and I am planning to see her in six months so we can gauge how well I’m doing. If you’re thinking that you need to address your health, I highly recommend this plan and Jen. She’s caring, she listens, and she gives you tools to help you stay on track. I feel my experience was a success for helping me begin my journey through nutritional food.
